"Sustainable, equitable, and AI-enabled Digital Health for All."

I am a Resident Specialist in Public Health Medicine, now leading digital health and digital public health at Primary HealthCare Malta. After years of European and national work on the European Health Data Space — including building and running Malta's National Contact Point for eHealth — I have moved to where that work meets people: the health centres, the clinicians and the citizens who actually touch the systems.

EHDS is only as real as the services people use, and implementation is where equity is won or lost. I co-founded Digital Health Malta in 2018 to give clinicians, technologists and policy makers a shared room. I am an EU Health Union Fellow (Class of '25), an openEHR Fellow (2026–2027), a keynote speaker, and an author. My work focuses on health-data strategy, interoperability, and the responsible deployment of AI in public-health and primary-care settings.

This site is where the thinking and the building live side by side. The posts are the short-form notes I publish on LinkedIn; the projects are the small, vibe-coded tools I build to test those ideas in practice.
